ARE YOU OVER 65?

WE ARE INVITING  ALL PATIENTS THAT ARE OVER 65 TO HAVE THEIR ANNUAL FLU JAB.

PLEASE RING THE SURGERY TO BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT

We do not give Hepatitis B vacinations for occupational purposes, I.E Medical Students. You need to contact your own Occupational HEALTH DEPARTMENT at your place of work to have this done. This is not provided at the Surgery.

National Bowel Screening Programme

This is offered to all 60-74 year old olds in England. It it a simple kit for you to use in the comfort of your own home.

The kit checks for blood in a stool sample, which could be an early sign of bowel cancer.

STOP SMOKING

Our GP's cannot prescribe Nicotine Replacement Therapy. This can be bought from Pharmacies and other shops ( such as supermarkets).

You can self-refer to the Lifestyle Service on 0161-253-7554 who can help with advise on how to stop smoking.
